Greater Manchester Police is advising residents to remain vigilant following a number of recent vehicle crime reports in the Coldhurst area.

Recent incidents have been reported on:

The majority of offences involved theft from motor vehicles, with additional reports of vehicle interference, vehicle damage, and a hire vehicle not being returned.

How to Protect Your Vehicle

✅ Always lock your vehicle, even when parked outside your home.

✅ Remove all valuables from sight, including bags, tools, mobile phones, and sat navs.

✅ Ensure windows and sunroofs are fully closed.

✅ Consider using additional security devices such as steering wheel locks, alarms, or tracking devices.

✅ Park in well-lit areas where possible.

✅ Report any suspicious activity immediately.
